Genetic inflation. People in the West are evolving at too fast a rate and its disrupting their social fabrics. Women in the West today are bigger and more amazonian than every before, and they are becoming masculine and lifting ridiculous amounts of weight, previously thought unimaginable for females.

Greece has the same average height than Spain and kids don't heightmog me with 5'8.5 (1.74)

The statistic for average height in countries accounts for all age groups, older men tend to be shorter and the general short height dilutes and sets back the “average height”

Bearing in mind that these measurements are misleading, when measuring, people stretch a lot/raise their heads to appear taller, and hair is also counted. You could easily subtract 4 cm from the average.

If you really are 5'8", it's impossible for you to feel so short.
