I went out in a thin sweater only and jeans, went to get some firewood. I was 30 minutes outside, 0°c windy. It made me feel a little better, got a dopamine kick from it. It also feels better now afterwards, for real. I might make it a routine. I'm still a little cold in the stomach/chest area. Feels good, i feel more alive tbh. I heard you shouldn't do it in the evening/night because it can make sleep worse. I will only do it in the daytime, i recommend it if you live in a cold country. I will never do ice baths though maybe in the summer.

That is not natural. Humans don't go out in the cold intentionally just because it is "good" for them.

All that happens is that your body burns more energy and you basically age faster.

You sure it wasn’t a cortisol kick? They feel somewhat similar

Sure but humans had to handle cold in certain situations. It wasn't all fine a dandy, warm 24/7 back in the iron age. I think cold exposure can help fight anxiety.

I wasn't stressed at all. I breathed calmly, i'm fairly used to cold tbh. I grew up in a house were the temperature was always 16°c during the winter.

What iron age, dude? You think history is real?

History is a little man-made i agree, but they've found iron tools from a certain period so that's why they call it "the iron age".

Sleeping in a blanket with cold air around you is peak sleep
How humans used to sleep before agriculture

I've heard from relationships foids hate that. They want everything to be warm all the time. Anemic i guess.
