In my experience, this app "Couchsurfing" is nothing more than Tinder for travelers. It sucks. Not so Hobo foids and chads get free comfy bedrooms and food, while you get to sleep outdoors in the cold/bad weather like a homeless. Looks and opinions from other users are the most important if you want to get a chance for anything, even to hang out.

What's your opinion about Couchsurfing, has it worked for you?

Any idea or opinion of any other way to travel with a limited budget?

That would be great :feels:.
Seriously, it was a fun way, maybe 10-14 years ago (hearing it from others "ugly"), when it started and there were no smartphones, but now it has brought the whole idea of limited budget/convivial travel to a matter of looks/genetics and opinions. From the original idea of a universal, affordable, original and nice way of traveling, it jumped on a big "fashionable" thing that creates huge disparities on about who is able to use it and who's not, and your sexual value, since many are using it to find ONS, as well ngl.

I would like to try it one day tbh.

Well, depending on what you mean by low budget, there is another option. Now, this option only works if you're planning on travelling for a long time. The plan is: a van. It's better than sleeping outside, and you can make a van pretty comfortable too. Of course it depends on your country, iirc you're polish and the polish economy is pretty good from what I hear, some of my countrymen migrate there, so I reckon you could save up for a year or two and buy a van.

Just use something like Airbnb to stay at a hostel or something. You basically get a bed, a shower, somewhere to put your things, and the price reflects the lack of amenities.
I stayed in someones house once couchsurfing style and it felt really weird, I don't recommend it.

You're right, it's not what I meant by low-budget. But, yes it's a great idea (I had it already). Knew a guy that transformed via a specialized company a used van to a quite luxory camping car (I think it was a VW Transporter), he showed me, it has a small kitchen, a comfortable large bed, an exterior shower, a satellite TV, an independent heating system, and others. He spent around 30'000 EUR for it. Exploitations is quite expensive, insurance is costly, tolls are higher than for a car, so it's definitely not "low budget". Surely, at the end, it's my dream.
Have just to find a way to get the money :feels:.

Thanks for the advice.
Never tried Airbnb, how is it?

Until now, I almost always travelled alone or in an organized trip.
I'm high inhib and introvert in general. Want to give it a try.
Also, when I see them being together, sleeping/eating/travelling for free or near, sharing nice time and talking about it afterwards, it makes me kinda of sad and angry. Why coulnd't I have such experience?
