Transhumanism is based. Eliminating all mental fatigue with a chip inside your brain sounds based. I have always romanticized a cyberpunk dystopian world where everyone is hooked on some chips and cope their lives away.

I think that will eventually happen. Gen Alpha is incapable of doing any work I can only imagine how the elites would invent something like a chip that would turn you into a robot that does any work automatically (something like an AI) and you get the skills and qualification automatically since the chip alters your mind.

Boomers that romanticize the old ways will die out anyways. With the soylennials and gen Z inheriting the world we are probably going to see a lot of improvements in our mental health.

With that in mind no one would even bother to give women any attention. The issue with women stems from simps giving them too much attention but in the not so distant future we'll get to experience greater pleasure than the one sexhavers experience.

Also, what happens when the drivers on your installed cybernetics have to be updated and have compatibility issues with the next software update? Finally, what are you going to do when the companies that made your augmentics cease to exist or are bought out by other companies and you are stuck with no longer supported equipment?

Personally, I would go with the bioaugmentation/bioengineering route as bioware would largely be self-maintaining and cannot be "hacked" or go obsolete.

Not when it’s essentially all I know, I don’t remember a moment where I experienced long-lasting happiness to warrant the downward spiral that is my life.

Suffering exists to highlight ‘rewarding’ situations and encourage complex thinking to further hone oneself, but I have experienced none such situation close to the same magnitude nor am I in a crisis that would warrant the excessive amount of thoughts spiralling within my mind.

I been switching from one SSRI to the next due to how worried my doctors are over my mental struggles, believing I am a risk to myself; and I spent majority of my life trying to find copes that would outweigh the dread I experience constantly from the lack of joys I have in my life, not as though I have a family that I could rely on for comfort my whole life like some others here.

Suffering may have instrumental value up to a point, beyond which it becomes purely destructive.
I’m completely miserable, and excessive suffering objectively is completely unnecessary.

I can imagine that the ubiquity of such implants would lead to a situation where they can be casually replaced, but a very good point.

I also remember the youtuber Isaac Arthur bringing up the idea of a slow change of humans bodies into and using smart matter as probably the most ideal solution, but that's by far the most sci-fi and far-fetched of those three possibilities.
