If anyone has watched Transformers, you WILL definitely know who is Bumblebee. Basically in short, Bumblebee is the yellow, small Autobot scout who is very close to the Autobot Leader Optimus Prime. However, when you compare the versions of Bumblebee in Generation and Bayverse, there IS a massive difference in terms of appearance. Generation 1 was in the 1980s meanwhile Bayverse is 2007-2015.
Here is Bumblebee in G1 shown in above, he is only 10 ft tall and his vehicle mode is a Volkswagen Beetle which is only 160 inches long.
However in the Bayverse shown in above, he is now 16 ft tall, and his vehicle mode is a Chevrolet Camaro SS which is now a whopping 190 inches long!
The difference between each incarnation of G1 and Bayverse is a whopping 6 ft in robot mode and 30 inches in vehicle mode! It is also a good sign of hypergamy as well, where traditionally small characters like Bumblebee had to drastically increase their size as well. This case is very similar to Wolverine, both characters had drastically increase their height in movie incarnations compared to their cartoon/comic incarnations. When your boomer parents tell you "hEiGhT dOeSn'T mAttER bRo!', they mean it's only applicable in THIER TIME PERIOD, not in the 21st century, let alone in 2020.
