Im at a major university here, and I "observe" a lot going on out of curiosity. Generally, the LESS clothing they have on, the more they are in hunting mode. This is what ive observed, it may be different than, say, a young professionals business environment in a career zone.
1. High-end jock fraternity party near campus. They usually go there with exactly 2 to 4 other stacey wannabees. They break out their inner tramp for this in order to get max attention.
2. Downtown "hot bar" for young working professionals. This is the "expensive" spot. Not where college kids pay 3 bucks for a beer. People are drinking martinis. The girls wear BLACK for this. This is the ultimate hunting mode for the 28 year old headed toward rigor mortis.
3. High end gym. They are hunting a lawyer so they show up after 7 pm. They are wearing high end nike apparel. Everything is skin tight as if they are a slave being auctioned off. Interestingly, the hive isnt a big thing here, they want to be "alone" so that if chad wanders over they wont be unavailable at that moment,,,,but the celphone is huge--
4. Sports clubhouse. They follow their team (although they dont know what a first down is). They are wearing their college gear. Demonstrating SMV. They are dressed down and probably get hit on by lite chads. If they look like this, they WORK there.
5. Outdoor Park/dog park/ . This is a sunday afternoon stroll. Lots of other upwardly mobile singles. Usually walking a dog.
They often are not really targeting a rich chad here, its a dress down thing, but who knows?
