The Money Store/Bottomless Pit

Illmatic was a pretty enjoyable album. Probably one of the best albums in rap history
indeed, very good album 10 tracks of greatness.

Thinking of the records to have held my attention for years and revealed something new to me with each listen:

Today Is the Day - Sadness Will Prevail
Scott Walker - The Drift
Caspar Brötzman Massaker - Home

With Neurosis - Souls at Zero quite likely to ascend into the triumvirate.

Just looking at my most listened to tracks from among my downloads, in descending order (which is obviously exclusive of everything I have on a physical format):

Today Is the Day - Willpower
Hammerhead - Into the Vortex
Nice Strong Arm - Stress City
Idaho - Year After Year
Alice in Chains - Dirt
Hammerhead - Evil Twin
Cop Shoot Cop - Consumer Revolt
Buzzov·en - Sore

Awake - Dream Theater
Enemies of Reality - Nevermore
Unquestionable Prescence - Atheist.

Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong.

rodeo

Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy
Glenn Branca - The Ascension (RIP)
Slint - Spiderland
Radiohead - Amnesiac

Enemies of Reality - Nevermore
Unquestionable Prescence - Atheist.

Anyone who disagrees with me is wrong.

hmm
The Somberlain
None So Vile
Under The Sign of The Black Mark
choosing only 3 is hard

Good one!

Ah, you wild son of a bitch! You're the first person here to recognize this band. An absolutely colossal monument to gnawing, ineluctable mania. The perfect incel music.

Your list is very fine as well, particularly:

Glenn Branca - The Ascension (RIP)
Slint - Spiderland

With that in mind, let me rec you something off my list:

Takes the sort of post-No Wave guitar experiments characteristic of the mid-late 80s and melds them with the more romantic side of Post-Punk to evoke images of a backlit, diaphanous rendering of Middle America.

Are you an RYMcel by any chance?

Yeah, I honestly didn’t expect anything like those songs (then again, it is death grips)
At this point I have no idea what to expect from the album. Flies and Streaky were pretty weird, even for DG, they've grown on me a lot, though.
Black Paint was my favorite of the three, I hope we hear more of that rock/punk inspired sound on the new release, similar to The Powers That B.

Yeah!

Thanks for the rec, it sounds nice.

Damn, a TotalAbusecel, Brainbombscel, Negativlandcel, minimalismcel, even a SpunkyOnionscel:

This track would likely be even better if one weren't listening to it as an incel.

I had an account on there ~age 14/15. If I linked it, though, there are about 3 people out there - 3 too many - who could probably dox me.

1.Grace- Jeff Buckley.
2. Someone somewhere - Jagjit Singh.
3. The Queen is Dead- The Smiths.

Man only 3? That's tough... the one's that I've listened to most are probably

self-titled and enema of the state by blink-182
box car racer self-titled
master of puppets and ride the lightning by metallica.

Rhapsody - Symphony Of The Enchanted Lands
Wintersun - Wintersun
Twilight Force - Tales Of Ancient Prophecies

Keeping my doujin music stuff to myself and thinking only about (rock) band albums:

1) Foo Fighters - Foo Fighters
I know it's not an extremely innovative, virtuoso album or nothing like that, and I also know Foo Fighters is nowadays "leddit: the band" basically, but this is my personal favorite rock album of all times and the one to which I dedicated the most hours listening. I absolutely love the aesthetics and sound of this album, everything about it is so 90s, so raw, so "squarish", so energetic, so young sounding. I never get sick from it.

2) Silverchair - Neon Ballroom
This was the album that broke my streak of like 3 years only listening to Nirvana, I still enjoy it to this day. It baffles me that 19 year olds could make an album like that one. Absolutely beautiful stuff.

3) The Strokes - Is This It
This reminds me so strongly of the best years of my life at 17-19 and I still consider it the best rock album of the 21st century.

I'm not a hipster at all outside of doujin music tastes, all of these are fairly popular stuff.

Oh shit man, never thought I'd see someone like you here! I found that Spunky Onions single off a Messthetics release, would recommend their comps if you haven't already.

I did take kind of a risk posting my RYM here, but whatever. As long as people know I don't hate women, I don't care if people find out i'm a bitter virgin lol.

Never even heard of them

Iron Maiden- Brave new world
Sodom- Obsessed by cruelty
Megadeth- Killing is my business and business is good.

My favorite's change all the time though.

cranial impalement

consuming the morgue remains

ingurgitating intestinal rot

Omg this question is so subjective.

1.- Blonde
2.- Madvillainy
3.- SB2H

i can never narrow these things down to 10, nevermind 3
but ill try ig

Top three Western albums
Prefab Sprout - Steve McQueen
Recently began listening to these guys like three months ago after accidentally stumbling upon one of my favorite Japanese bands covering a PS song. Fell in love with them instantly. Consequently, I began delving deeper into 80s music. If a fourth option was possible, I'd list the Eurythmics or possibly even The Talking Heads.

David Bowie - Low
Unironically got into Bowie's music due to MGSV. I kept that other guy's cover of Man Who Sold the World on repeat for months until, just two days after Bowie's death, I decided to check out his music (I wasn't aware that he had died). His music was kinda eh to me at first, but it eventually began to grow on me. Aside from Young Americans and Black Tie White Noise, his discography is impeccable. He also got me through plenty of hard times in HS. Low and Lodger were the albums I fell back when I felt like kicking the stool.

YES- Close to the Edge
This album is a fucking experience, man. The first track should be mandatory listening for anyone wishing to get into Prog-Rock.

Top three Eastern albums
SCLL - Ghost is Dead
Spangle call Lilli Line - I love their indie sound, and each one of their tracks is a refreshing experience. Also, they introdouced me to Prefab Sprout via their cover of Appetite.

Tomita Lab - Joyous
Fuckin' Tomita Lab, man. One of the first Jap artists I ever discovered. His tunes got me through plenty of hard days back in High School.
VIZL-534.jpg

Kahimi Karie - Larme de Crocodile. She's up there with the best of Shibuya-Kei artists such as Pizzicato One and Buffalo Twin.

The devouring weeds of inceldom are consuming the garden. There are many types here and yet more in the shadows. Stick around, though, as we could use more epicureancels.

And speaking of - I looked at your profile more closely and goddamn if it isn't almost a mirror image of my tastes from 16-18. Pärson Sound, Five Starcle Men, Drunks With Guns, The Shadow Ring, Iko, Bugskull, Metabolist, Rat at Rat R...never even met another person who knew those names, let alone here.

I've got a few more recs, if you've got the time. I noticed this was in your wish list; if you haven't heard it yet, play it very loud - it's like a ritual sacrifice on the howling steppe:

rRope - Stop It (one of the many interesting Bay Area bands that emerged from approximately the same scene as TFUL282, sounds like a fusion of This Heat and Trumans Water)

Live Skull - Bell Shaped Heads (if Sonic Youth were way, way better and attempted to capture the feel of the Times Square grindhouses, it might sound something like this. Be forewarned, some tracks - like this one - have a foid on vocals)

Lowercase - She Takes Me (if you like Unwound and Slint you'll like this)

Idaho - Here to Go (it seemed like you might be a bit short on slowcore. Check out the whistling feedback on this one - really puts this band over the top)

Ritual Tension - Living Hell (track 6. Phenomenal incel music)

Bogshed - Champion Love Shoes (along the Scritti Politti, Desperate Bicycles, Messthetics axis, though a bit later chronologically. Sounds sort of like The Fall. I used to listen to these guys all the time)

Pretty happy to not see any normie shit in this thread tbh. Thanks fam for the reccommendations.

Anthrax - Among the Living or Spreading the Disease (cant decided between them)
DRI - Dealing with It
Slayer - Show No Mercy
