Diamond Dallas Page became a pro wrestler at 35 which was an age thought by many to be far too old to start off in the business and become a success but he did anyway through a lot of hard work and dedication.

He created a character that got over with the fans to the point the company at the time ie WCW felt confident enough in him to book him to become their world champion 3 times in their storyline.
