Serious To those of you that watched the Joker *major spoilers!!*

So I was watching Joker today. It felt pretty much like a documentary about my life only that my life was even quite a bit more fucked up than his on many levels. There were only two things I didn't get. First he was really acting stupid occasionally i.e. why scare the kid of his (possible but not really) father when you can just go there like a normal person, ring the bell and ask kindly if you can come in? I mean he did some really stupid shit which made it more difficult to empathize with him.

Second thing I didn't get: Why the fuck would he kill his mom? Yeah he was only adopted and yeah she was crazy and yeah she let her boyfriend abuse him as a kid. It still felt wrong to me. I mean my mother was a heroin addict and just had been released from prison when she met my also addicted and freshly released father and then she decided to give birth to me because she wanted to add meaning to her life at the expense of letting me live a life of SHIT. Still I would NEVER consider killing her. I mean what the fuck...she is still your mom. Do you empathize with Joker for killing his mom? Note the poll...

Did you bathe your mother? He obviously had a very unhealthy relationship with her(oedipus complex) It was kind of incestual, it was like his lover betrayed him. Maybe he felt he was putting her out of her misery as well.
