To repair our broken political system we must do the following

Due to the financial requirements to achieve election, the House of Representatives no longer serves its purpose as the voice of the plebians. For this to be amended the representatives of the plebians must be selected by a lottery - requirements for said lottery must be of a certain level of education etc. to ensure no retards. If the selected pleb does not wish the task, the selection will proceed until one does.

The House of Representatives should then be granted the permanent power to investigate and charge members of the Senate and the parties they represent for foreign collusion and financing. Withal, if a majority (75%) agree that a Senator is not upholding their duty, they can be removed.

Are you saying to become a politician there is too much of a financial barrier.

And that alternatively average joes should be selected at random?

I actually like this idea, this could be something good with some tweaking.
