Man has an existential treat as looming as the race for singularity draws closer and closer-- one that sounds like a gooner conspiracy theory, but I am being completely sincere when I say this: the real conundrum for 99.9% of men in this century is to CHOose between these two options:
1. Become a masturbator
2. Or just suffer
The Masturbator's Life (blackpill):
The Sufferer's Life (red, blue & purplepill):
What's particularly dark about this dynamic is that the sufferer's persistence might actually be economically useful to the elite class - they remain productive, ambitious, and competitive - while being psychologically punished for it.
As for the top 0.1% of men: the elite would likely experience something closer to what we might consider "traditional" masculine fulfillment, but amplified and secured by technological dominance.
Their Reality:
They'd essentially be living in a pre-modern aristocratic structure - small numbers, high stakes, genuine competition, real relationships, meaningful conflict. Meanwhile, they'd have engineered the perfect pacification system for everyone else.
Their children would grow up in environments designed to create competence, ambition, and real achievement. They'd face actual challenges, develop genuine skills, and compete for scarce resources that matter. They'd probably have something resembling traditional gender dynamics because those dynamics would serve functional purposes in their world.
The masturbators below would be providing the ultimate service to this class - voluntary removal from all forms of competition. No political resistance, no economic competition, no sexual competition, no intellectual challenge. And they'd all die off because they can't breed anyway. The price the masturbator pays is simply a victory for the elites that we never had a chance to win anyway.
1. Become a masturbator
2. Or just suffer
The Masturbator's Life (blackpill):
- Immediate gratification on demand, dopamine hits precisely calibrated
- Freedom from rejection, performance anxiety, social navigation
- Minimal economic overhead - cheap food, basic shelter, internet access
- Time becomes elastic and unstructured - no deadlines, no obligations
- Emotional flatness - few highs but also few lows, a kind of chemical equilibrium
- Physical atrophy but mental numbness that makes it irrelevant
- Social invisibility that becomes comfortable rather than painful
The Sufferer's Life (red, blue & purplepill):
- Constant low-grade frustration from unmet desires and thwarted ambitions
- Constant comparisons and yearning to live like the top 0.1% and men of past civilizations
- Grinding through dating apps, job applications, social interactions that feel increasingly hollow
- Maintaining physical fitness and professional skills for competitions that feel rigged
- Watching peers withdraw while wondering if they're the fool for persisting
- Financial stress from trying to maintain "normal" social participation
- Chronic loneliness despite more effort at connection
- The exhausting cognitive dissonance of pursuing goals that feel increasingly meaningless
- Genuine scarcity and stakes: Their competitions actually matter - for control of AI systems, genetic enhancement technologies, space resources, or global governance structures
- Real sexual selection: Access to the most desirable partners, but also facing actual competition from other elites rather than competing against infinite digital alternatives
- Meaningful work: Designing the systems that govern everyone else's lives, making decisions with genuine consequences
- Physical excellence: Access to the best genetic modifications, life extension, performance enhancement - they become genuinely superior rather than just relatively advantaged
- Social cohesion: Tight networks with other elites who share similar stakes and capabilities
