This is interesting. I often like to consider why the majority of people have such a strong objection to the idea of suicide. It's obvious why society does, but it's less clear on an individual level. One could argue that by simply refusing to eat, you could die a natural death of starvation, most say this is a form of suicide. If that's the case, than what is suicide besides a simple hastening of the dying process?

I believe suicide is so vehemently opposed because others want to chain an individual to this existence for their own benefit, or in the case of parents, for their own vanity. Considering that not a single individual asked to be here, I'd argue that there is nothing which one is more entitled to than the right to end their own life at a moment of their choosing.

Precisely, human beings should be entitled to end their own lives regardless if they have a terminal illness or not. Sadly it'll never happen, I'll have to end my life in a more painful matter instead of getting a painless lethal injection.
