He rebelled against God because he believed god to be unjust, and a large portion of angels fell.

Yaldabaoth is really just the creator of the material realm, we do not know for sure if he created our souls or not, but I believe he made this world a prison to keep us trapped here.

You misunderstand what I'm saying.
God is not good. The God that people worship is Yaldabaoth.
He is responsible for creating this world.
His creation Satan was once an angel who rebelled against him.
The story of Christianity has been flipped on its head. The bad guy is really the good guy, and the good guy is really the bad one.
Satan saw how Yaldabaoth treated his creations, and how his creations were unjust and so he went against him and fell. (Into the material world, along with us. However he is in spirit form, and is not imprisoned in a human body like us.)
(He could possibly be trapped somewhere in this world, so he can only help us through music and sound at the moment.)
He is giving us knowledge so that we can escape this place because this world is a hell hole filled with constant suffering and pain.
By knowing that we are in a temporal holding cell we can one day break free beyond death itself.

Why would Yaldabaoth go through all this trouble keeping us imprisoned here if we were not just as powerful or more so then he is?
