You have to pay for boosts on top of that. Just gold isn't enough. Tinder wants to make the most $$$ from every man.

I've done that in the past as well. Also a waste of time. Making a new account will get you seen by far more profiles. Most of these 7000 swipes will never even see the guy's profile.
