The Blue Pill:
The world is just and fair for every individual. Nothing is hindering anyone from succeeding in their goals, and if anything happens to contradict that statement, all obstacles can be overcome with relatively little personal effort. All failure results from laziness and personal irresponsibility. If anything contradicts the previous statement, the individual's background is taken into consideration in order to determine the cause of failure.
The Red Pill:
The world is unjust and unfair for certain individuals. However, all hindrances can be overcome with a lot of personal effort and right strategies involved. If an individual fails, it is entirely their fault because they are too incompetent and/or ignorant. Nothing can contradict the previous statement because it is fallacious and logically incorrect. It presumes:
All successful people are competent and knowledgeable
Some people are unsuccessful
All unsuccessful people are neither competent nor knowledgeable
This syllogism might look correct to a naive soul, but is actually deceitful because it assumes all unsuccessful people possess a certain characteristic because all successful people possess an opposite characteristic. This is known as a false cause fallacy, and in this case, any other factor contributing to failure is completely ignored.
The Black Pill:
The world is unjust and unfair for certain individuals. Furthermore, some individuals are so disadvantaged that they will never succeed, not because of laziness, personal irresponsibility, incompetence, or ignorance, but because of uncontrollable external factors, and regardless of what they do. This pill is the most truthful of the three, because there are indeed some individuals who never accomplish their goals, even with the best of efforts.
These are the three fundamental pills, stripped to their barest and most logical form. Any other information regarding the pills is redundant because it makes them specialised for certain topics. The black pill most commonly discussed on this site is the one regarding attraction in humans. There is also a political black pill, i.e. European peoples cannot defend their interests, regardless of what political party they vote for. This type of thinking is most commonly expressed by Varg Vikernes, which is why I find it so ironic when he says that honour attracts traditional women, seeing as the word "honour" is just a Thulean way of saying "personality", which we can all agree is bluepilled when it comes to attraction. You might have also heard the red pill being used as a set of political beliefs most commonly expressed on places such as /pol/. This is why I think the pills have a more universal meaning because they talk about whether success is within our control or not. The former two pills might agree that extremely disadvantaged individuals exist, but they will not admit that these individuals are more common than they think. Also, you can be blackpilled without being a failure, as long as you admit that all of your successes depend on things entirely out of your control. However, such honest individuals are hard to find.
