3DG are based, but not better than LP. Gontier was amazing, and the Walst albums weren't absolutely awful until the latest one which was abysmal, but I feel 3DG's songwriting is often a bit too typical and doesn't do them justice. Sometimes listening to their records is a grind.

Songs like 'Overrated' and 'Born Like This' are killer, though.
