Better than the 3rd
I'm 5 hours into this walkthrough, I really like "The Witcher" series. I do wish that the game had scarier monsters, but "Assassins of Kings" is much better than "The Witcher (1)."
"Assassins of Kings" can be tedious at times, mainly because the monsters are not scary and the atmosphere becomes cringe too often in the game.

"Resident Evil" games are scarier, but "The Witcher" has of course, a great writer.
Oh no... I have to watch that walkthrough next!
I cheated, and checked to see if there are any good werewolf fights in any of the games - negative. I hate how the transformation sequences are so weak, the monsters are not scary at all, it becomes annoying. I really like the elf-lore, the dwarf-lore is solid also.

The gameplay isn't quite as refined as The Witcher 3, but I enjoyed The Witcher 2's story and quests. I like it's more linear approach to storytelling. It improves the pacing and better conveys a sense of urgency. The Witcher 3's plot kind of meanders and tapers off a bit, especially during the game's final acts.

Finally finished watching the entire walkthrough.
Only played a little of it. Seemed fun but I like the 3rd one more.
It's mid but i really like it
Considering it was released in 2011, which means the developers spent 2010 and prior working on it - I was pleased. His fighting combos were boring and repetitive as fuck, even after his skills were maximized.

Never beat it as combat and the semi open world was too boring to me.
That is scary. How can it get anymore dull? I know! Werewolves that are not freighting.
Disgusting game, I played it many years ago but had to cancel it because the tryhard high-contrast graphics almost burned my eyes out.
