Drumpf says that the US navy will insure and escort ships passing through the straight but how on earth will the US navy stop Iran's heavy long range artillery shells and anti ship ballistic missiles?

Imagine one of those huge oil tankers blowing up :lul: :lul: :lul: :lul: . They're big, slow, and easy targets

This will trigger WW3 if not resolved since so many countries depend on oil passing through this Strait.

It's gonna end up like Red Sea crisis.

Also, each large tanker carries around $150 million dollars worth of oil

That's a lot of money and the ships alone cost a lot.

Capitalism is now getting near the end of its existence (or is already being transformed into a post-capitalism of some sort).

They are trying to takeout their stockpiles, that’s how.

Better than the gay of Hormuz tbh

Iran’s missile threat is mostly neutralized. They do have a lot of drones, but those are easier to take out with jets and ships. Iran keeps threatening that the Strait of Hormuz is closed because they don’t want their bluff to be called.

Some traffic is making its way through, but it’s dropped significantly. The US is offering to escort ships and backstop insurance. If they do, I hope they prioritize ships going to Asia and not Europe.
