Because silent hill 2 remake was made by pooles who try to be like their western counterparts and import propaganda into their games meanwhile this was made by chinks although the chinese ones not the japanese unfortunately.

It will feel probably as different IP, more like fatal frame or something. Which is fine, depending how well its made. Konami gave up on its games long time ago, im not sure who makes this and how big of a budget they will get.

Looks like more of a fatal frame game than a silent hill game, I like the look of it's trailer so far, exciting when a game is made in asia because it's more likely to be a good game.

Story will be leaving you with awful aftertaste like all R07 works that always turns from mystery horror into supernatural episode of DBZ with characters flying all over the screen and throwing Kamehamehas. I'm not touching this shit unless i will find out that someone controlled that retard and actually made him write competent story for once without changing genres constantly till there is nothing coherent left about it.
