I'm not a movie fan and I've not seen these in their entirety, but I like how they look.

The like the makeup, costumes and environments they take place in, especially with caligari.
Very spooky, gothic and mysterious.

These 3 silent films are all in the public domain, so you can do whatever you want with these.
Some of the history of silent films, especially the lost ones is very interesting.

they are very creative, I like the organically crafted feel to it. It doesn't work to make a modern day silent film because it's too gimmicky.

Personally i dont really like silent films, however I can get past black and white, one of my favourite black and white films is little ceaser
