Depends on the type of rape.

When it's the brutal rape where the victim fears for his or her life then it's really awful. Basically rape makes the fear even worse. Also, if it is physically hard, for example anal sex like in male-on-male rape, then it is also dangerous and hurts a lot, so that again is horrible.

But when it's just normal, but unwanted, penis-in-vagina sex with a condom so there is no real risk of STDs then IMHO it's not that bad. Of course it's still bad because there is an intruder in your home who has full control over your body, but that's the case anyway no matter whether he rapes her or not. So what I mean is that when an intruder e.g. binds a victim so she cannot hinder him stealing stuff and then in addition he rapes her with a condom, then the additional rape probably is less important than the robbery and kidnapping etc.
