It’s been a while since I’ve seen the show, but if I remember correctly, and for anyone who hasn’t seen it, pains philosophy is essentially if we all shared mutual pain, meaning if we all knew each others pains, the world would be a much better place where hatred could seize to exist because everyone could sympathize with each other (or at the very least, hatred and pain would be far less).
