FaceIQ is easily one of the worst "blackpill" youtubers of all time. Aside from the fact that he's a raw meat shill and a grifter, he also has one of the most insufferable personalities that exists. I can't stand his monotone voice that he does to try and sound smart and "nonchalant". He's also has this perpetually smug demeanor that just makes me want to punch him in the face.

Haircafe absolutely destroyed him in his last video about him a while back. Haircafe made a response to him prior to that and for a while after that FaceIQ avoided responding to him (even though he responded to him before and I think he might have been the one to originally call out haircafe). Then after his community kept begging him to reply for over a month, he did a half-assed response in the form of a livestream where he barely addressed any of the points Haircafe made and intentionally skipped over part of the video with the strongest points because he was "too tired" and "not feeling well". Then haircafe made his last response to him and now FaceIQ is suddenly "above it all" and replying to haircafe is suddenly "not worth it".

As far as hair loss information goes, his channel is probably the most informative on youtube. He does a really good job at dismantling broscience with scientific evidence. Naturally all of the "trust me bro" broscience shills like FaceLowIQ hate him. He's also right about nutrition, but some here might not like what he has to say about that topic.
That said he's not a blackpiller, and explicitly stated he doesn't identify with it. However, I dont think he fully understands the blackpill because he says blackpillers are against DHT inhibitors, which he probably thinks because of the vocal minority of contrarian broscience retards who call themselves "blackpilled".
He's a late gen Xer and while I'd argue that's the most down to earth demographic there is, it also comes with a few blind spots and haircafe isn't an exception to that. He's a bit out of touch with the culture (like he doesn't seem to fully understand what "the blackpill" is) and occasionally he has some takes that are really out of touch. Like he says everyone should ditch their smartphone and get a dumb phone instead. I mean I agree smartphones are a problem for a lot of reasons, and it would be great if everyone collectively took this advice and society changed. But pragmatically on an individual level, it just isn't practical for the average young person to do this. For some jobs it's just outright impossible. Not only that but since they make texting way more tedious, it will cause you to become even more socially isolated since texting is how zoomers, and many millennials mostly communicate these days. They get "anxiety" talking on the phone. Haircafe is a gen Xer, and they still talk on the phone, so this is just one example of how in some ways he doesn't quite understand the social landscape young people have to deal with.
But overall, he's a smart guy who doesn't fit into any of the typical "tribes", and calls it how he sees it.

My parents don't have phones either, if they need to include a phone number for legal reasons they just put their work phone landline in. My father doesn't know how to use technology and can only navigate Foxtel, whilst my mother has basic knowledge regarding gmail on her laptop. I've tried pressuring them into getting phones to make all of our lives either but they are strongly against it.

I dislike him as a person, he seems very smug and looks down on anyone that's worse looking than him. He's a know it all type.
I do think that his app is pretty good though, I only used it for the free ratios and free side profile rating, it was accurate at pointing out my biggest flaws and the surgery advice + morph was good.
