I'm sitting at my table working on a presentation for work, and I hear the sound of a baby crying very loudly. I instantly got up and looked out the window(I live downtown).
I see a father/grandfather holding a little boy, who couldn't be older than 2. He's rocking him in his arms and patting him so that he will go to sleep.
usually back in my mid and late teens, I would have been annoyed. But now in my mid 20s I think its the sweetest thing ever. I got up so quickly to look because I wanted to protect the child.
I feel like having a wife and child would make waging that much more enjoyable because I'm working for them, and not the expectations of my parents.
