I don't believe as strongly in regard to 'essence' like you do, but I do think it's impossible to prove 0% sexuality so "asexuals" should just identify as hyposexual if they are less horny than average.
When I bring that up, they get offended firstly because apparently that is offensive or some shit (it's not) but then also because they say apparently they can be super-horny hypersexual "asexuals" who just masturbate all the time but supposedly don't want to fuck anything other than themselves.

This is how I imagine most asexuals to be. i.e. 100% sexual but like to give themselves a label that makes them feel special.
I believe there probably are real cases of asexuality but you're talking severe biological conditions.

Because the reality is that everything you do in life is just a backdrop to your romantic life/family life. If you never experience love and never have a family, your life has no purpose. That's why boomers fucking hate their job and say "happy Friday" to you or ask you what you did on the weekend every week. They're not being facetious, they really mean it. If you aren't "doing" something on the weekend, if you don't have a wife and kids to share your life with, you are living a horrible shitty existence and people feel pity for you. The whole thing about hating your job but doing it anyway to support your lifestyle isn't a meme, it's true. Most people grow to hate their job but what keeps them going is the fact that they're coming home everyday to a loving wife and kids they can be proud of.

Assuming that Newton and Tesla were actually celibates (we don't actually know much about history, for one thing) that wouldn't mean they were asexual.
