They were always prone to primitive and disorderly behavior. It's in their nature as animals. It's by natural design to revolt and cause violence and disorder when they don't have their way. You can never truly tame an animal unless you kill them or force them into quarantine. Eventually humans don't fail to live up to their innate primitive instinct. Nietzsche was right when he says we are all too human animals. The enlightenment/liberal idea that humans are purely rational beings that can overcome their animal nature with their faculties of reason is wrong. Our base instincts and desires are so fundamental to our nature that they can’t be suppressed, and it’s harmful and misguided to try and do so. Instead of denying and suppressing our animal nature, we should embrace it and channel it in more constructive ways. Like allowing the strong to dominate the weak.
