The problem with the "do your own research" crowd is that they find sources that support their already-formed opinions, disregard everything that doesn't, and then call that "research". Actual research is more than a simple Google search and checking your favorite news outlet.
And that alternative is 'just believe whatever your sponsored news outlet puts out and dint question it'​

These people not only reject basic literacy but they are also outright gastlight you into thinking that the world we live in is full of honest people. (It is not in reality)
