It's depressing how we have been stripped of the possibility of living a simple life like that, surrounded by the serenity of nature — instead, forced to live in a society filled with man-made constructs and expectations, a neverending race that concludes with inescapable slavery for most. The current globalized society with some of its technological advancements has completely perturbed humanity. People think they’re “free” but they’re just slaves to rent, jobs, and social media.
