This is so sad to me
My dad used to play this song when I was a kid and I was really young and times were good
I had friends back then; genuine friends but as time passed, people became worse and worse, they were raised in the west
I was raised in curryland and reunited and as I came back I saw it all shatter

As I'm typing this yes I'm thinking about how much I hate my dad and the unbearable pain caused, but it is nostalgic and sad and I think I'll never forget this song
I don't know why but as I type this, I'm getting chills because the singers are white and I can envision my dad's dream of getting away from our homeland to go live in the west
It was a dream that never came true
It turned into a nightmare and so did all my dreams
As I grew up I soon realized who my parents were and the hell they've been putting me through
