Sex is probably not that difficult, but relationships might not be that easy. I think women have it easiest as they can get both sex and relationships trivially as they don't want a lot of sex but men want. Gays have it second easiest though as they want a lot of sex which is obviously symmetrical. Heterosexual men have it most difficult as they want a lot of sex but the persons they want to have it with don't.
