Serious This forum is running on fucking potatoes

Master must be running this forum on potatoes. 5000 concurrent users is extremely low by modern server standards. A single decently optimized backend on a mid-range server can easily handle tens of thousands of concurrent connections, yet this forum is on life support everyday when it only gets a fraction of those users all at once. What makes this worse is that we share resources with other forums like .org.
