While it can be costly, you can get a good Katana from China where they have been making swords for 2600 years.

As old as the Japanese

The big difference is the cost.

A decent Chinese made Katana that you can build to your specifications if you know what you are doing is $200-$300 range.

Customer service is out of Houston, Texas and is very good.

I do NOT work for this company

If you want to pay more, check out Henwei

Cult of Athena is great on prices if they have it in stock.

As far as a true Japanese Katana, the blade alone is about $6000-$8000. On up.

That does not include anything else. And for an heirloom, maybe 250k

The Japanese government strictly regulates their Katanas unlike the Chinese.

Slicing through a 4 inch diameter of bamboo simulates beheading.

Better to work out your frustrations this way.

I am not up on your lingo. I’m 61 years old. If I’m too old for you or this forum, then delete me. No hard feelings.

I just want to give you an older guy’s outlook on dating. I have seen pretty muchseen or done everything. I want you to be safe.

I know you are frustrated and this world sucks.

I am NOT going to lecture like your parents might.

And I wished I could say it gets better.

The answer is ‘maybe’.

I am NOT law enforcement. I promise.

I did work for the state of Texas for 20.5 years until I became disabled because of my lower back.

But it is better to suggest alternatives to your anger and frustrations.

You should be doing what the hated Chds and Stacy’s are doing this weekend.

I called them Bobs and Susan’s since they seemed to run the world when I was your age.

Call them whatever.

Just don’t go crazy. Ok?

I still remember being your age but I did have a real outlet that worked.

Print personal ads in a weekly newspaper.

And they worked!

But while it did take about a year of dating fast and furious, I did eventually meet a long term girlfriend.

And I am no Chad. Just spent a lot of money and kept trying.

I am not going to give anymore lectures. I know things are really different than when I grew up. And I felt like you do.

And I’m not going to promise everything will work out. So much BS in movies, TV, even damn ads. But keep trying. Ask female friends ( and you can make some) what do I need to do?

I know being young sucks. But so does being old.
