Satan and Hell are mythological like Zeus and Hades. Exactly the same identical thing. The rules of belief that apply to one thing apply to the other thing. No evidence for Zeus/Hades and no evidence for Satan/Hell. You can't have two separate rules for the same things. It's like dividing your brain into separate compartments, you'll send yourself mad. If the Bible stories are real then how do you know Jack and Beanstalk isn't real? You have no standard of known reality to judge. There has to be some kind of measuring stick of reality you can use to know what is real and what isn't. If we didn't have that we would still be burning witches at the stake. No-one really believes in this stuff anymore a tiny few wacko suicide Muslims aside. We're all the same it's just that some of us have embraced it and some haven't.
You can't just say something and becomes true there has to be some kind evidence based on what you say based in fact. It's like saying I'm an 9/10 6ft 4 inch tall slayer. I would like that to be true but saying I am doesn't make it real automatically. I need 1) a mirror 2) standards of attractiveness in our culture to compare that to and 3) a tape measure. Then based on that fact I can say what the situation really is.
