Luckily I bought a very high end gaming PC recently. I would only have to upgrade the graphics card in like 5 - 10 years. Graphics cards largely decide the power supply of the computer so they will start restricting those too I guess. I mean they already basically do in those states according to the article.

Agreed, it's the same thing in every historical era or epoch, those that have power cannot stand and tolerate individuals they can't control, manipulate, or shape.
