I've seen this all the time on these forums. I really don't know if it's an American thing though. I see short good looking guys all the time who get girls and have worked in the same jobs as me so it's not about status. Here's a guy my best friend works with who I know gets girls left right and centre. That's his girlfriend/wife now I think.
