I am specifically posting this because the post with @Thugs-5-Less made me feel bad for him, and I did not want to see him like that because it reminded me of a few days ago when I was feeling disliked. Please read, thank you.
I've always thought the internet has made us people way too comfortable with saying mean words and not getting pushback for it. I've never insulted or been mean to anyone online so I couldn't really know, but it is crude and disrespectful to have that sort of attitude both on the internet and irl and I think it's time that we acknowledge this. Just because this site has total free speech doesn't mean that we should foster this sort of energy around here as it makes the more sensitive users (and even everyone to an extent) more miserable.
It's weird how no one has mentioned this before, but yeah. I've made a thread about us complimenting each other way long ago, and while it may have felt awkward, that's because we are not really used to give and receive. Or love and be loved and etc. That's because of all the shit we get IRL, but that sort of stuff is expendable when you start directing it outside with no attempt to mend the wound. I consider it a form of moral healing, or atleast trying to develop your empathy.
It comes at a cost, and that is letting aside your hatred as they are not productive emotions. These emotions will leak and you will end up directioning them towards not only the object of your resentment, but as well as fellow comrades as well. Although you can resent, but you cannot let it foster general hatred and misanthropy (hatred of the fellow man). That way we can upkeep our beliefs all the while fostering empathy as a community and making this a safe space for us. Because I believe, that incel spaces should not be spaces for only constant misery, self-hatred and etc. but for trying our best to cope with our situations in life all the while. That means we can have the bad moments as well, we can vent, but as long as we manifest our emotions (other than only anger) as sadness (which is a beautiful emotion and I love each one of you that have expressed sadness as well even though I may not have felt sad at the moment you can vent to me in my DMs anytime you want) joy, fear... you get it.
If you read this, thank you. Please do share your opinions.
