When those jobs are wiped out, they'll flood the trades and lower wages. It'll go from a workers market(high wages + benefits ) to a employers market. The same thing happened to "Just learn to code!". It's all a scam.

HVAC is good because plumbing and electrical is mostly construction. At least with HVAC you can have steadier work with maintenance and fixing stuff.

The barrier to entry for trade jobs is pretty fucking low. If AI replaces white-collar jobs, why wouldn't white collar workers move into the trades?

Growth in GDP doesn't necessarily correlate with grown in wages for prosperity for the common man. This is blatantly obvious if you've been alive for the last 50 years not sure why I even have to explain this to an adult.
Higher GDP thanks to AI doesn’t equate widespread prosperity, in your scenario capital gains would actually concentrate in capital owners rather than working class folk. Also there aren’t enough blue collar jobs to absorb all displaced white collar workers without driving wages down significantly
