Discussion There is something very strange about my physical appearance

All of us know where we stand on the looks scale from 1-10 but I have no idea what to rate myself. When I look in the mirror, my face looks normal but when I take a selfie on my phone or any electronic device, I look ugly. It has always been like this for me. I did research into this phenomenon. After reading over 100 sources, most people believe that mirror gives you an accurate image of you because in the mirror you see yourself in 3D. In a photo or selfie, your face is 2D which makes your face look flat. Another thing I want to point out is that I look bad in artificial lighting but good in natural lighting. At this point, I don't know what to believe. If the selfie is accurate, I am a 3/10, if the mirror is correct I'm a 5/10, idk

if you really wanna know for sure get a professional photographer to shoot your photos with a dslr to minimise lens distortion
