In the movies the jock who picks on the nerdy quiet kid always ends up working for him when they grow up. Or stacy ends up ditching the jock for the nerd. I watch the kids who beat me up every single day get countless gains. There is this big fictional win for the nerd. Maturity is coming to realize there is no movie-ending in life. The situation stays the same, the people just get older.
