This is awesome. It's called HTLV, and researchers call it "the cousin of HIV". It was common among aboriginal Australians (40% of aboriginal adults have it, wtf), but it spread to Japan, Africa and now to other places, too.
It's extremely dangerous and world health experts are already raising alarm. It causes lung and eye irritations and cancer. The cancer builds up rapidly, dooming the infected almost immediately to an untimely death from leukemia.
It is unfortunately still rare and harder to contract. However, that means that no one atm cares to find a treatment. HTLV is the macOS of STDs. Can't break it.
