Serious Therapy is useless for one reason.

Most men who are depressed aren't that way due to messed up chemicals, they're miserable because of societal issues. Not just lack of success with women but your jobs, your financial situation, politics which have invaded everything, etc. There's a reason why financial issues are one of the big reasons for suicide in the west. And I think most therapists know this, but can't have even more men drop out or die and risk upsetting the fragile balance that keeps this sick system propped up so pump them full of useless drugs and shame them for thinking that way.

Most people aren't happy though. That's why a lot of guys drown themselves in video games or other media forms, because real life has nothing enjoyable for them like relationships and friendships.

I don't think that's it. I'm sure some male ones agree, in fact I had one agree with me when I still tried therapy, but their job is to make sure men don't kill themself or other peope.

My therapist didn't do this tbh.
But then again, I'm in curryland and she knows how fucked up curryland is.
