>sequel to an extremely successful console
>overpriced
>NO GAMES

u should be lynched for making this comparison

It'll probably have more games by 2027 but I doubt they'll be that quality. The console isn't neccecessarily overpriced, but the games definitely are.

Remember playing a bunch of stuff back in the day on the p3

If you're only comparing the launch of the ps3 it's pretty fair tbh. That console did not that start off strong

Blu-ray, internet browser, and while immediate launch titles were a bit slow it picked up super quickly. it's insulting to compare it to the switch 2.

The PS3 started of very weak and came out second, afaik, at the end of its gen.

I would only really care about any of this if I was an investor and or a game developer trying to figure out what platforms to develop for and which ones to avoid entirely.

Dont you dare insult PS3

'tendo has been recycling the Wii U for 3 generations now.

I played a bunch of games when I had my ps3, that’s all I remember my older brother usually bought a lot of games that we could both try.

switch 2 is just a mario kart world machine at this point

PS3 had plenty of games at launch

It costs 330 dollars in Japan, if it was that price internationally they'd still be making more than the domestic product due to the weakening of the Yen. at 450$ it's making double the revenue of the 330$ domestic product
You're a fucking idiot if you think this 2020 tablet isn't overpriced

It cost $340 to make.

Doesn't matter how much it costs to make. The weakening of the Yen helps exports so they would still make profit by selling it at 340 internationally
It's not about the money, it's about sending a message. :feelshaha:

I still and will own my PS3 games forever at least.

I don't care about consoles or handheld, but what's the difference between Switch 2 and Steam Deck, seems to me that Steam Deck is better option and cheaper

The Steam Deck is basically a computer in handheld form. Huge AAA games aren't exactly that well optimized for it, but it does the trick for smaller games. It's more powerful than the Switch and since it's a fucking computer you can do whatever including emulation.
For someone like me, who doesn't really care about Nintendo games and instead grew up on the PC/PS2, I'd get a Deck if I moved around a lot. Alas, I'm a NEETcel.

Both are unable to run modern games properly but one of them isn't locked into an ecosystem full of toddlerslop that never gets discounted from its 80$ starting price
