Discussion theory: lookism is hugely exacerbated by modern society and populational growth

I was thinking about that when I was coming home from work and it actually makes some sense.

So naturally, average people, by definition, are the majority of the population, which means that most people will fall in this category of looks. If we really think about it, good looking people are quite rare. Since humans naturally used to live in small communities of a few dozens up to a a hundred humans. Let's say you were born in a tribe of 30 people, statistically speaking, good looking people should be a minority anyways and since it's such a small value, that would mean it's very unlikely that too many good looking or too bad looking people will ever be born within this small community, at least not in a few generations.

So judging by this parameter, how many generations would it take for someone like Gandy be born, judging he's like 0,1% of the male population when it comes to looks? Think about it, that's the same reason why in primitive societies concepts like "homossexuality" do not exist. Outside our modern society where people literally drink poisoned water that turn fetuses into fags, homossexuality is a pretty rare abnormality.

So my idea is that since there's just so many people out there that makes good looking people quite common, when if we still lived in hunter gather societies so to speak most people would live their lives without ever seeing someone as good looking as supermodels or extremely ugly.

Everything bad comes from the cities. Cities just encourage massive competition amongst the masses. Competition to get the best jobs. Competition to get the best foids, ect... No one looks at each other like another human being, another member of their own society. yeah, even a few decades ago without internet, tv and media constantly showing good looking people and squeezing money out of people's instictive lookism most people wouldn't even see such good looking people

if we go back in time even further, these people wouldn't even "exist", just like gay people, dwarfs or any kind of rare genetic variation wouldn't "exist".

Technology allows anyone to view more beautiful faces (in quantity) than their entire bloodline has ever seen. And the faces are more beautiful than anyone in your bloodline has ever seen. You have seen the most beautiful faces of human history. The beauty competition is not geographically tied to your local area. It's global. The faces are manipulated by angles, lightning, photoshop. btw that's something that deserves a whole thread but have ever read about how many of these village/tribesmen throughout history who were brought to "civilization" ended up going back to their "less civilized" homes to never come back again or rather going mad and suicidal?

I wonder if there's any anthropological work done on this subject as I think it's a very common pattern among these individuals. People who grew in the civilization seem to be able to live without it, but not the opposite. In fact we have quite a few people to this day who just end up abandoning society and civilization on their own will.

Yeah, i would like to see some work done on the subject as well. I forgot the name of the theory, but it went something like, that a person only needs a small x number of close relationships to be happy. Which is pretty prevalent in the small tight knit village communities. Modern society and cities have too many people, but no good substance behind any of the interactions between people.

We've been spoiled from bad conditioning on a massive scale. Instagram and tiktok truly are cancers that have helped worsen this problem by conditioning so many people. It's getting to a point where a strikingly beautiful person could walk past you and you wouldn't think too much of it. Pre internet that would be a story you would tell your friends and they'd all fantasize what that person looked like. Now it's just a matter of pulling out your smartphone.

This is why the percentage of Incels is going through the roof, espically since the white population is declining. I wouldn't be suprised if by the end of this decade 50% of under 25 vear olds are incels.
