so basically, instead of spending his time meaningful towards building things that actually matter, the man will just try and always market himself in a favourable light. he will do superficial, shallow things and just try to portray himself non-stop as the most attractive choice. just like a politician. the metric that matters isn't him, it's the image of himself he puts into her head.
2. constant surveillance of his woman.
if a man stops non-stop marketing himself, she will find someone else more attractive and might cheat. he would then have to make sure he finds out before she gets a chance to carry those STDs back into his home.
