Back before civilization humans and proto homo sapeins tribes used to have a ultra caste system where the 20% of males in the tribe used to breed according to evidence 1 top male would mate with 17 women at a time and kept them as a harams these males would typically be smarter stronger and disease resistant to many disease so they didn't die so easily by this logic women are the reason why modern humans exist. Just a thoery the males who could efficiently gather food easier would mate far more there for these males tended to have bigger frontal lobes this trait was engaged in many tribes.

This. I'm pro eugenics but it can be done in a milder way and already have great results. Have talked about it before here.
