Social media - particularly Instagram, X and TikTok - just suck. I don't even know where to start but could write a book about it but atm I'm too tired to even list more than a few reasons.

They show how some people are better looking than others, creating understandable envy, anger, me included.

They show the stupidity of people, in their ignorant comments (even about trivial things such as sport / food) — this also maddens me for hours, even days.

They are the cause of worse sleep as well as generally causing inflated expectations of others.

They can be addictive (doom scrolling) = neglect more important tasks.

Etc.

Social media, you sucking fuck.
