Think about that quote for only a minute, normie. How has it been better? Socially? EH, WRONG. Culturally? Re hashed has beens (aka nostalgia trips) have been all the rage since, i dont even fucking know when. Technologically? Yep, but that is one of main problems thats plaguing modern society for a while. We. Just. Can't. Keep. Up with it.

There's a quote attributed to that famous french sociologist Levi Strauss that goes something like this: theres native villages where the rivers were still full of fish and the fruits were still always ripe to catch, yet they all seemingly vanished, self combusted out of existence all together.

Why?! Because they didnt have the most important aspect of human existence. MEANING AND PURPOUSE.

That means all could be well and dandy nowadays (it isnt, but lets entertain it for a moment) things would still be falling apart someway, somehow.

We need community, family, relatability, yadda yadda yadda, ok, all alright. BUT, the most important thing is a well thought out system of shared values that keeps us going. Without that, we are just feathers on the wind.

There is no meaning and purpose in life.

Fucking is cope, reproducing is cope, foid is cope, living is cope, the past is a cope, the present is a cope and the future is undoubtedly a cope.

Even the blackpill is a cope masochistically consumed.

There's no inherent meaning to life, doesnt mean we cant create one. Thats why we developed big brains. To have big thoughts.

If there is no inherence, there is nothing. Just empty. You can give meaning to things to be able to continue living, but ultimately, it does not stop being a cop, like everything in this life.

You confuse the Lamarckism of "we have developed Big brains" with "Natural selection has given rise to highly conscious human beings, and although it may seem hard to believe, intelligent." Neurally designed by nature, like many other species, to reproduce, there is no meaning, no purpose, no solidity in a life that escapes towards death and whose maximum mechanism of permanence they are selfish genes that want to perpetuate themselves like a virus.

If you look at a piece of shit as just a piece of shit, it will always be that way. However, if you see it as a fundamental part of life, something a thing as beautiful and important (to nature) as a flower or a magic mushroom, which can open mental portals you dont even know existed both need to survive, then you'll start to see things as they were intended.

And dont hit me with one more of those anatomistic, mecanicist tired tropes again, as i dont have the mental fortitude rn to deal with them.

People say this because we probably have more leisure time than ever before. But if you have nothing to live for then you're just constantly reminded that life is shit. Religion is dead which was once the ultimate cope. No wars to fight which could grant some nice spoils :feelsaww:. We have nothing to do but just sit around for decades waiting to die.

When you get all the benefits , you think this way
