at this point the word is mostly used as a way to describe anyone that is an outsider to a specific group, every other community uses it interchangeably as if their definition is the correct one, if you don't adhere to the specific standard of what this person means by normie, if you differentiate from this model of what being a normie entails accordingly, you are one, the problem with this however is it means anyone can claim to be a non-normie, since you can just point to even the slightest of differences in yourself to prove a point.

The definition of the word should be more centralised, it should strictly refer to the experiences that the average person goes through, the ones that are the most intrinsic to life: sex, relationships, having a social circle, and hobbies that don't stray away from the universally accepted norm.

I don't believe this is the case. If you take the internet for example, before social media, pre 2008 era normies didn't use the internet or PC's in general, only if they had to at school and even then it was for IT class only way back then. It was considered "nerdy" back then and to normies completely pointless.

Now every faggot goes online, on forums, social media and bulletin boards trying to be cool and edgy, like reddit, 4chan and even using social media in an attention-seeking degenerate way.

In life a normie to me, is someone who follows the herd of sheep, smokes, drinks every weekend, has tried drugs, doesn't have a high end job and wears the latest trend in clothing. Also has tattoos, possibly piercings now, may even have dyed their hair too. Normies...

I don't see the truth in this. Normies have always stuck out like a sore thumb and continue to do so, not to mention really getting on my nerves.
