I was watching a woman discuss MGTOW and the other day and she cited a statistic that shocked me: we're well below the replacement line for the population in the USA.

2100 births per 1000 women are necessary to replace the current population. In 2018, we're at 1765 births per 1000 women.
I always thought people who hypothesized society's collapse were angry coping MGTOWs, but with this birth rate, the economy will be unsustainable. Workforce shortage, not enough consumers, increased burden to fund pensions on the existing workforce, etc.
The reason for this problem is very evident: totalitarian divorce laws are pushing men out of marriage and out of commitment to have children with women. No one wants to have kids with a wife if it entails slavery and imprisonment. The sword of Damocles that hangs atop a man's head if he enters a relationship with a woman has completely ruined companionship between men and women in our society. You can't even co-habitate with a woman in our time. The laws surrounding partnership are asinine.
So, if men want nothing to do with women (despite our insane sex drive and our hard longing for female companionship), the birth rate falls, and so does the West. I mean you can't really expect society to function if no one is running it. We would have to radically change the way Capitalism sustains itself to tread along this path.
And forget about any type of action that you think might change divorce laws. No protests, no spreading of information and no amount of politics will change our sick and twisted judges' minds about the morality of forcing spouses to SUSTAIN AN EX-PARTNER'S LIFESTYLE WITH YOUR OWN INCOME REGARDLESS OF THEIR EDUCATION AND CAREER LEVEL, AT THE THREAT OF PUTTING THEM IN A CAGE AT GUN POINT FOR AN INSUFFERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME.
I sincerely believe that the more moral a society is, the freer it is, and thus the more prosperous it is. Divorce courts are a great evil of our time. Our complete inability to eradicate them will rot society down.
In the end, Chads and Stacies will never enjoy the opulence of our countries again, at some point. My incel heart is less resentful at that idea.
