Many people know who I am.
Everywhere I go, people know my name.
But, they don’t really know me.
They imagine me to be some sort of semi human and semi machine.
Incapable of full humanity.
But, I am just a man.
The decisions I have made, seemed reasonable at the time.
Whether they actually were, or not, is irrelevant.
Because I believed they were reasonable at that time.
So it is the same with all people.
They make the decision that seems the most reasonable at that time.
It just depends on how you view the world.
Both good and bad people, are making what they think are reasonable decisions.
They just see the world differently from each other.
It is this reasoning which let me let go of anger.
I’m not angry at Stacy or Chad.
Do I like the fact that I am a 45 year old man who has never been on a date?
Of course not.
In fact, it feels pretty terrible.
But, Stacy makes her decisions based on what seems reasonable to her at the time.
It doesn’t mean that I agree with her decisions.
I just acknowledge that those decisions seem reasonable to her.
This is why I am simultaneously extremely upset about being an incel, but I’m not angry at other people.
Even though it was entirely their decision to reject me, that decision seemed reasonable to them.
I guess, this perspective has come from my past, and how people see me now.
My decisions were wrong, but at the time, they seemed reasonable.
